His faithfulness - new every morning. Even the accident we had two hours before leaving for the family viewing time on Thusday, while it left us "shook up" and pretty seriously damaged the "good" car, we were not hurt. And we were not late and we had a very special family time together. One of the best parts was my 3 year old GD looking at Great Grandpa's body, telling us "Him in Heben." Yes he is...and it is sad and it is good and both are all mixed up together. We are resting a lot - and the memorial service is in Tuesday. Thank you for your prayers...he is answering them .
ReplyDeleteThose little 3 year olds have the best of wisdom, uttered in the most priceless ways. And it's at the bittersweet seasons like this that maybe we appreciate their words most. I am grateful that you're safe, Carol, and pray that Tuesday's service will bring deepest comfort to your soul ...

DeleteHope is the benefit of waiting and seeking - and the three working together build a bridge to Him. It's His masterful plan.

I love these verses from Lamentations. I have also seen the translation that His mercies are new every morning and it is such an amazing reminder that we get to start each day with a clean slate. God's grace pours out on us like honey! So sweet and good! Blessings to you today, Linda!

My heart has so often been for Jeremiah He went through so much and saw so much and knew what the significant consequences could be. Lamentations was filled with his heart and his hope for us and others. Blessings for sharing the Word and coming up with a photo that fits in.
ReplyDeleteHey CaryJo ~ No wonder Lamentations is in the Bible! God knew that we would mourn, grieve, and wrestle with faith in the process of moving through this life. And yet His mercies are new each day and He is faithful to the end. And for that, all I can do is give Him praise ...
