Quieting Us

'The Lord your God is with you,
He is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.'
- Zephaniah 3:17
 Pursuing, yet quietly resting ...
actively becoming more attentive and aware
to the powerful stillness of His beautiful presence ...

  1. This verse is always a comfort for me, a reminder of His love. Beautiful!

  2. Beautiful and encouraging verse! Blessings to you!

  3. Just read this Book yesterday. And am a constant Prophet hanger-outer in that historic/prophetic portion of our world.

And you did a lovely photo and beautiful choice of Scripture.

  4. The word 'beautiful' is coming up over and over in your musings tonight, dear readers.

All I can say is a sweet amen! Thank you for sharing this sabbath evening with me ...

  5. Is that notes on barbed wire?Totally cool!

    Thanks for linking with Deidra.

  8. What a beautiful verse! Something to always remember in good and bad times.
Our pastor spoke of generosity in Saturday's sermon. I love it when I follow the path that He has created for me.
Thank the Heavenly Father for loving each of us every day!

  9. Since He takes such great delight in quieting my spirit and loves me so well, I surely will trust Him to walk with me on the paths He is allowing to unfold in my life.

Thank you all for joining me on this one in a million Sabbath afternoon!

  10. What a beautiful theme, so many of the ones I have read are about peace, and rest and quiet. Isn't he awesome?
