We honor the exceptional men and women who made the choice to face the unthinkable and excruciating, to selflessly serve and courageously sacrifice, for freedom's sake. And we remember their families who said the agonizing goodbyes, waited and hoped with anxiety and tears, bravely persevered and prayed without ceasing back home.
