Sharing Their Gorgeous Manes

They've been growing out their beautifully thick heads of hair for months years.
Just for Locks of LoveAnd today was the day to finally say good-bye . . .

When all was said and done, the energetic, joy-filled blonde prayed
for the little girl who'd be 'wearing her hair' in a couple of months . . .

And when they returned home, the other two sweethearts just had to join in the fun.
So dad cheerfully wielded the scissors in the driveway.

Like mother, like daughters.

    1. Well, if they were looking for curly hair, they sure got it in this lot! Wouldn't it be a thrill to see your hair woven with other strands to make a brand new head of curls ... for someone whose own tresses have disappeared?

  8. Oh how sweet. They have beautiful curls! My daughter did that in college! Here's was straight w/o a flat iron. Isn't that just the neatest opportunity for people! Thanks for coming by and seeing my "Chopped" inspired cupcakes. I am surely a fan. I am learning so much. I am kind of 'wing it' cook a lot never having what I need in the pantry. So I am learning to experiment! I didn't even realize it was on tonight. We usually catch reruns. But if there isn't a ballgame on maybe Cowboy will turn it on. I battled MLB, NFL and any other kind of man thing. LOL. I just let him watch and I am on the computer!
Thanks for coming by. Come by anytime!

    1. It was fun to drop in and see you. Grantham ... especially since I am a huge CHOPPED fan! And how odd that we're talking about my favorite TV show on a post about getting hair chopped ...

  9. Hi Linda! Love seeing family photos, and these are so lovely...and what a great cause. You must be so proud of your daughter, leading the way through her example, and inspiring her daughter too. Generations of giving...that's a beautiful thing!

    1. 'Generations of giving.' I love the way you've penned that, my friend. And isn't that the kind of legacy we want to pass on ...

Hope you're having a joy-fueled day. Always fun to see you pop in!

    1. Mine used to be so long and thick that my Dad said I needed to go through the door sideways. Unfortunately it was not at all attractive and I had friends hack it off when I was going into 12th grade. And it's been short ever since!

So ... to see my girls and their kids have gorgeous hair makes me smile.

Thanks for weighing in on this today, Dar! I love promoting Locks of Love!
