Continue to follow the monthly suggested guidelines, and by the end of the year, your home will have been thoroughly cleaned and organized. Let's not wait til spring to clean. Trust me, you'll want to be outside, not inside surrounded by dust and stuff. Let's be good stewards of all the things we've been given. As you work through the list, keep 3 large garbage bags handy - one for trash, one for donations (local thrift shop, Salvation Army, etc.), one for items to sell (ebay, craigslist, garage sale, etc.) Begin to make it your policy that if you don't love it or need it, you're going to donate it or toss it. You'll be delighted with the sense of release and freedom you experience.
