Daily Graces

The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
    His mercies never cease.

Great is His faithfulness;
    His mercies begin afresh each morning.

I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance;
therefore, I will hope in Him!”

The Lord is good to those who depend on Him,
to those who search for Him.

So it is good to wait quietly
for salvation from the Lord.
-   Lamentations 3:22-26 {NLT}   -

Oh so grateful ...

    1. Aren't those little guys a panic?!!!!

      Just loved their rendition of this old family favorite. Out of the mouth of babes, yes?

      Sabbath blessings to you, my friend. May you find rest for your soul in worship and praise ...

  2. From the mouths of infants and babes, Thou hast ordained praise. Your video made me smile and remember days when my children were small. Daily graces and sweet joy. I'm next to you at the Weekend Brew.

    1. I still love singing this song when the 12 of us gather around the table. Holding hands, we sing this praise loud and strong ... and often terribly off-key!

      I hope it gives Him joy ...

      Thanks for being here today, Ginger!

  5. Depending on Him, every day - maybe not always gracefully, not perfectly - but depending! BTW - I wish all my ham came heart-shaped!

  7. It is so good to wait quietly- to be still - to let Jesus into our deepest recesses. It calms me just to think about this! Weekend blessings!

    1. Putting everything else aside, sitting still, waiting quietly, listening to what He whispers. He speaks deepest peace in those times ...

      I love Him so!

  9. What a sweet video, Linda. It reminds me of how very important those early days are to our children's spiritual development. Our middle son was like the boy in this video who shouted his prayers (I know, they both kind of did that) but our son would do this when we were out to eat. It was often very embarrassingly funny! Praying for you, my friend!

    1. Well, it's wasn't as deep as your video offerings, but good all the same!

      Hey Readers ... be sure to head over to Beth's place. Every Sunday she sits down and does a cool video for a couple of minutes to share some real solid gems on marriage.

      Must viewing! Absolutely!

      I'm a big fan.

    to those who search for Him."

    Now that is what I truly believe in! He is there always, you just have to go to Him!

    1. Welcome, Theresa! This has been a family favorite for generations, in other words, a very LONG time ...

      'God is great and God is good.

      And we thank Him for this food.

      By His hand must all be fed.

      Give us, Lord, our daily bread.

      Amen.

Welcome to the table, friend!

This is where we gather and hang out. I'd love for you to pull up a chair and jump right into the conversation. Or simply say 'hello.'

l'll be dropping in to visit you sometime soon ...
