Secondhand Sweatshirt . . . and One Gorgeous Bird

'If you decide for God, living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don’t fuss about what’s on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion.  There is far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body.

Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God.  And you count far more to Him than birds.'
*   Matthew 6:25-26 {The Message} *

    "I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness..."

    It's His clothing that matters most...

    Grateful how He covers us,

  7. Dear Linda
    This truth I experience in such a real way on a daily basis. At the moment I am bed bound by the Fibromyalgia. It is just incredible how close God is to me when I suffer; the more the pain, the nearer He seems to be and the freer my hear flies on the wings of the Wind.
    Blessings XX

  9. What a stunning bird! We'll be adopting our first bird in December - though my mother has had birds all her life. This one, an English Budgie will be for my daughter. I'm looking forward to the new addition and the ability to marvel daily at another of His great creations!

    1. Love those little budgies ... such attentive little companions! {Although I had a parakeet that adored chewing on my oak kitchen cabinets and window sills. Sigh.}

      Keep us posted, ok?

Welcome to the table, friend!

This is where we gather and hang out. I'd love for you to pull up a chair and jump right into the conversation. Or simply say 'hello.'

l'll be dropping in to visit you sometime soon ...
