'Ring the Bell' ~ A DVD Giveaway!

"Disclosure of Material Connection: I received one or more of the products or services mentioned above for free in hope that I would mention it on my blog.  Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.  I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255: "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising."

WOW!  It's time for another GIVEAWAY!

If you've got kids at home or want to keep your adult TV viewing clean, you know it's nigh impossible to find decent shows that aren't cringe-worthy, where you don't have to hit fast-forward every other second, or throw yourself in front of the screen to guard innocent eyes.  Just like you probably have pulled together a library of good books, I love the idea of homes having a selection of entertaining and inspiring DVDs that you can pull out and pop in at a moment's notice.

So grab the popcorn, turn the lights down low, and Ring The Bell, gang!  Here comes the story of a big time, quite-full-of-himself sports agent who seems to have it all.  Rob Decker's on a quest to sign a high school baseball superstar, but ends up stranded in a small town where the simple lifestyle and authentic faith of its residents are way different than his own fast-paced, winner-takes-all mindset.

I love that Casting Crowns and Steven Curtis Chapman drop in along the way!  And if you're a baseball fan, check out Rick Sutcliffe, John Kruk, and Ben Zobrist!  Six special features {including a few featuring Casting Crowns!} top off this family-friendly DVD.  And do head on over here to download a leader's guide and study questions for your group.

I've got a brand new copy of Ring the Bell for one of our Creekside readers!  Simply leave a comment ON ANY POST between now and Wednesday, May 8th at 8pm {eastern} and I'll randomly choose a reader to win this $19.99 family friendly DVD!  Be sure to pop back to this post at that time to find out if you're the winner!

* * *   May 8th Update - CONGRATS to our winner!

Beautifully written and perfectly stated, Linda.  This is like a warm hug and a pat on the back all rolled into one for the weary mother and wife.  I'm so glad you linked it up with Wedded Wed because, truthfully, sometimes motherhood is what makes marriage and life messiest.  Thanks for this amazing gift of validation and encouragement, my friend.  Praying it will bring much comfort to all who read and need.

  4. We (and I mean society as a whole) is desperately lacking in good wholesome movies. It's encouraging to see when a new one comes along.

  6. What a great gift for families, Linda. It truly is difficult to even watch a clean television program with family because now the commercials sometimes border on pornographic. It's great to have a clean, wholesome, and entertaining back-up plan for those family movie nights.
