    1. Thank you, dear Jennifer. As a mother-in-law of a Naval officer, I've seen many of the everyday sacrifices that impact a family when someone's serving in the military. I honor my son-in-law today and all the other men and women who have kept us free and safe over the years.

      {Love you, Barry!}

    2. Perhaps you've already seen the documentary "Veteran Nation" (I have yet to), but here is a five-minute clip that I found very moving: http://www.servingourvets.org/

      "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13).

      Gratefully,
      ~A

      P.S. Thanks for your service, Barry! My father and grandfather, who served on LSTs in the Pacific during Vietnam and WWII, would salute you.

Welcome to the table, friend!

This is where we gather and hang out. I'd love for you to pull up a chair and jump right into the conversation. Or simply say 'hello.'

l'll be dropping in to visit you sometime soon ...

Linda
