For the Kids - A Jonah Giveaway!

'Hey God, I've Got Some Guy Named Jonah in My Stomach and I Think I'm Gonna Throw Up!'

Yep, that's the title of a brand new book by Troy Schmidt, the first in a series of books for kids ages 4 - 8.  And it's the Jonah story ... but from the big fish's perspective!

Fun, bright illustrations with a biblical emphasis on trusting God and obeying Him makes this volume a winner in my book.  I introduced it to my just-about-4-year-old reading buddy this past weekend and after we turned the last page, she INSISTED that we 'read this again!'

Hoping to get a great quote, I prompted her, 'Why do you want me to read it again?'   Her professional opinion?

'BECAUSE I LOVE IT!'

I'm giving away a free copy of this book to one random reader who leaves a comment on ANY post by this Saturday, April 27th at 5pm {eastern time}.

So jump on in {no pun intended!} and simply leave a comment ... and you might end up with this awesome gift for that little one in your life.  No 4 - 8 year olds in sight?  This would be a great donation to your church or public library!

Be sure to head back to this post on Saturday to see if you're the winner!

*** 4/27 Update - Congratulations to our Winner ...

My K-1st grade class would love this!

Please email me your address, Jill!   And a great big thanks to all who left comments this week!  Be sure to watch for a great new giveaway this coming Thursday!

  2. The Jonah book sounds great. I have 8 4-8 yr. olds who would love it. Sometimes we need a "Jonah experience" so that we stop and listen to God, don't we?
