They're Home . . . Again!

I hear that a holiday, snow days, and teacher work days are keeping the 4 oldest grandkids home again ... and again ... and again

1/21 - no school

1/22 - 2 hour early dismissal

1/23 - 2 hour early dismissal

1/24 - 2 hour delay

1/25 - 2 hour early dismissal

1/28 - no school

1/29 - no school

But, as always, there are few dull moments and they are in high gear ...

STUNNING DUCT TAPE T-SHIRT PROJECT

JUMPING ON ICE ENCRUSTED TRAMPOLINE

SCIENCE LAB 101:
SUN SURROUNDED BY SOLAR FLARES

A RACETRACK WINDS THROUGH A BEDROOM

A NEWLY EMPTIED CLOSET
MORPHS INTO A COZY CLUBHOUSE

HANGING OUT POOLSIDE

AND THEIR FAVORITE SONG THROUGH IT ALL

Jenn writes,
'where some see a roll of duct tape,
my children see bookmarks for friends, a new purse for mom, a bag for a doll,
a new folder for school, a fire to roast marshmallows on, and even a new t-shirt

where some see an empty toilet paper roll,
my children see barriers for a racetrack and a sun with solar flares

where some see a messy closet,
my children see a clubhouse

where some see taking another bath,
my children see a chance to put on swim suits and splash around together

while some mothers wonder what 4 children are doing upstairs for so long,
i put my feet up and enjoy a cup of coffee!'

  3. Wow! I'm very impressed with the duct tape shirt. It reminds me of the young girl who made a prom dress out of duct tape.

  16. Jennifer, those creative juices begin to flow at a very young age ... and are either stifled or fertilized into bloom. So parents, take note!and say 'yes' whenever you can!

Welcome to the table, friend!

This is where we gather and hang out. I'd love for you to pull up a chair and jump right into the conversation. Or simply say 'hello.'

l'll be dropping in to visit you sometime soon ...
