The Comforter

'What a wonderful God we have - He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of every mercy, and the One who so wonderfully comforts and strengthens us in our hardships and trials.

And why does He do this?

So that when others are troubled, needing our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us.

You can be sure that the more we undergo sufferings for Christ, the more He will shower us with His comfort and encouragement'
- 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 {LB}.

  2. Yes, it is so true. Our messes become our message. Praise God for that! Wonderful reminder.

  3. I've written too much on your earlier blog (where I learnt about your giveaway) so I'll just say that your picture and the words under meant a lot to me. Joan

  4. Somehow this makes our trials and sufferings worth it...maybe not our first thought as we go through the storm but afterward; knowing we are able to offer "the comfort with which you have been comforted"...so amazing that we get to share in all things together!
