Refocus & Recalibrate

I check in to her website and spot the word of the day.  But unlike most Fridays, nothing clicks into gear for me.  The invitation is there, begging for attention, but nothing comes to light to write.

Ah ... writer's block!

Or ... early Friday morning brain freeze?

And then a sweet whisper comes from somewhere deep within.  It cuts through the early morning fog.  And those words I oft' remind myself and the women I talk with come into sharp focus, crystal clear.

'Finally, dear sister, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things' {Philippians 4:4:8}.

A straight-forward command that helps me shift gears and recalibrate.  Refocus when my view gets skewered or jaded or off-kilter.  These are my words for today.
