Lavish Giver ... or Penny-Pinching Cheapskate?

Give. Give. Give.

Time. Cash. Food. Energy. Prayers. Hugs. Compassion. Elbow Grease. Toys. Grace. Transportation. Love. Clothing.

Give yourself.

Give in the name of our precious Savior, Who showed us what authentic, sacrificial giving is all about.

So, go ahead - sacrifice! Pour out! "The righteous give without sparing (Proverbs 21:26). Those who have truly been touched by the Master are not cheapskates! They give wisely and thoughtfully from overflowing hearts that have been truly touched and changed, healed and blessed.

What are you donating, providing, bestowing, or relinquishing this Christmas? Please inspire others by leaving an ANONYMOUS comment below!

Moved by those that do this lavishly ~

  1. Our family put together a box for Operation Christmas Child.

We have donated food for a food drive.

We love to put money into the Salvation Army Kettles.

We enjoy giving anonymously to those in need.

  2. Every time I put a dollar in one of the Salvation Army kettles, I get all choked up. The kettles are no longer metal, but plastic - and many locations now take credit cards!

  3. I give when God directs, and anonymously if at all possible. Whether it is money or items, I never question His call. I don't hesitate or think about it because you can talk yourself right out of it. I've learned over the years that God is our provider and whatever we give, He makes sure we don't go without.

  4. Thanks for reminding us that the emphasis should be on giving anonymously. The credit and glory goes to Him ... not us! Anything good we are or that we do is because of what He has done in our lives.

Welcome to the table, friend!

This is where we gather and hang out. I'd love for you to pull up a chair and jump right into the conversation. Or simply say 'hello.'

l'll be dropping in to visit you sometime soon ...
